With few more weeks of winter left, here’s a wonderfully moist and crumbly cake that you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Apple and Cinnamon are two ingredients you can never go wrong with.

Cashew Eggnog Biscuit Cups

Before I’m off for some family fun time this weekend, here’s a festive recipe that will keep you warm and merry.
Growing up on eggnog as a kid, made me experiment a little this Christmas. I’ve baked it with some broken cashews and a spike of whiskey in my little biscuit cups.
So simple and delicious indeed!
Do give my Cashew Eggnog Biscuits Cups a shot! 🙂

Bread Pudding

It’s the holidays. Please throw all your fancy diets out of the window. Before I start off with my Christmas inspired recipes, here’s a little something I had to indulge in after being away from home for a month.
It’s rich, sweet and nutty! Just the kind you need to start off this joyous season.
Do try out my Bread Pudding recipe and would love to know how you make yours!

Vanilla Cupcakes with Mysore Pak Frosting

If you’re a person who hates Indian sweets like me, then try adding them to your cupcakes or tarts and you’ll start to love it.
Paying homage to my state’s most beloved sweet- Mysore Pak, I got myself making these Vanilla Cupcakes with Mysore Pak frosting only because I can’t eat Indian mithais otherwise.

Candied Bacon, Apple & Peach Tart

Bacon is love. I can eat it all the time, for every meal and adding it in my tart recently was the best decision I have ever made.
The great balance of saltiness and sweetness from the candied bacon, apples and peaches along with the crunchiness of the walnuts make it such a fab dessert.
Do try out My Candied Bacon, Apple & Peach Tart and let me know how it goes 🙂

Mum’s the Word!

“A Mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take” What would the world do without mothers? This is a question I ask myself every day and never seem to find any appropriate answers because it’s a fact that we can’t do anything without our mothers. Both my mother and grandmothers have always inspired me to cook from a tender age and so I give them all the credit. If not for them, I’d be starving today! With Mother’s Day around the corner, we’re always brain storming what to cook…
