Melbournians say that this is not the worst winter yet. That statement scares me because even some nights when it goes down to 2 and 3 degreees, I feel frozen. I blame Bangalore for spoiling me but I must admit that I’m learning to adjust really well. I’m going for a winter trek this weekend. […]
Say the word ‘CHOCOLATE’ and I feel I’m in heaven. I don’t think there’s any other ingredient in my kitchen that I enjoy working with more. It’s the only thing that helps me destress. When I’m sad, angry or disturbed, I sometimes open the cupboard and munch on it. Don’t you love it too? If […]
Last blog posted was exactly a month ago. I apologise but it’s awfully difficult when you’re working out your butt in a kitchen for hours and then have to travel hours to get back home. But all this ends because I’m done with Le Cordon Bleu. It was an amazing learning experience but I can’t […]
It’s been a rough couple of days. I just lost someone really special to me. She played such a big role in my culinary life so it hasn’t been easy at all to get back to the kitchen. But they say, life goes on and my Nana has always been so supportive of everything I […]

Growing up on eggnog as a kid, made me experiment a little this Christmas. I’ve baked it with some broken cashews and a spike of whiskey in my little biscuit cups.
So simple and delicious indeed!
