Summer Diary-Chapter 7: Sunday Love

It’s Birthday week and that definitely calls for good food.

Today was one of those most relaxed Sundays where I just chilled with the family.

Went for mass to St Patrick’s at 11 am and straight after that hit the Catholic Club and enjoyed this simple yet yummy #breakfaststory

Roast Beef Sandwich, French fries and a chilled beer

You see I’m eating a lot of beef lately but this could be because in another month I will not get any of it once I’m back in Bombay thanks to the great #beefban.

This sandwich is second best after Mama’s homemade ones. It was so juicy and had a great amount of mayo. I simply enjoyed it. Anytime you’re here, this something you have got to try out!

The french fries were hot and crisp as usual.

PS: I ate a lot more than what you see on the plate! šŸ˜›

And the chilled beer needs no explanation. =D

A little later today, at around 4 pm( my latest lunch in a very long time), I came home to this:

Prawn Curry Rice and Fish Fry

The Jumbo Prawns from the rich coconut based curry had so much flavour in them and went really well with the rice. It was spicy and so delicious. Just could not get enough of it!!!

The Fish Fry was crisp and fried to perfection. The masala of the fish blended well with the curry.

I was in food heaven like seriously!

Now its Summer and the king of fruits has real power over the whole season. I don’t know a single person in this world who isn’t fond of mangoes.

And nothing beats Alphonso. They are rich, sweet and so tasty.

My evening finally ended

Mangoes with Vanilla Ice cream

It doesn’t get better than this! I just realized that I just went to Goa for a couple of hours and came back.

Definitely one of the best chapters!
