Tuna Lettuce Party Salad- For The Healthy Souls

It’s funny to think of it now but I’ve never really been the salad kind of girl. Always found them to be quite boring in the past. It’s only recently that I decided to start eating more healthy when I’ve discovered my hidden love for salads.

They say it’s not advisable to eat them in the rainy season. But let me tell you that’s all just grandmother tales. If you buy your vegetables from a clean vendor and wash them properly in salt water, you have nothing to worry about.

When watching your waistline or looking for a quick meal, salads become your best friend. They don’t need prior thinking or require much preparation at all. I’ve always loved eating tuna even as a kid. I remember mum would pick up tons of these tins from the grocery store and my evening snack would either be tuna on crackers or filling in a sandwich.

Hence I decided to experiment with tuna in a fresh salad and it turned out to be such a wholesome meal. They say salads don’t fill you but this one will not make you wake up in the middle of the night, feeling hungry again.

Besides just being healthy, it’s packed with flavours, fresh ingredients and is an extraordinary treat for your taste buds.

Do try out the recipe and let me know your thoughts.
